Small 8vo., brown clothbound hardback gilt, with gilt decoration to upper cover, a.e.g. 252pp, indexed, with frontispiece + 88 black and white text figures, contemporary adverts to endpapers. Ink name and date to reverse of frontis, plus very occasional pencil marks top text. Light foxing to prelims, boards very slightly worn at outer corners and spine ends, overall a VG copy.
