This work reviews the stage designs exhibited at the first (and only) design exposition of the Third Reich (1936), produced under the auspices of the Reichministers for People's Enlightenment and Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels. The work displays 45 approved scenic designers whose productions were mounted between 1933 and 1936 including Lotte Brill, Emil Preetorius,William Reinking, Alfred Roller and many others. From the Preface "The all-changing ideas of the Nationalist-Socialist Revolution have naturally changed the face of stage design in Germany.
