No Edition Stated. 6 Volumes, Complete. Small 4to. hardbacks in half tan calf with raised bands, red title labels, decorative gilt to spines, and purple/brown pebbled buckram boards. All edges and endpapers marbled. All volumes profusely illustrated with b/w engravings, both full page and within the Text and 1 colour plate to Volume I. A clean set with no markings or inscriptions except for the name of W. G. Steel in gilt to foot of each spine (please see photo). Occasional light foxing, mainly to prelims. Bindings nice and firm. Some rubbing, light soiling and areas of fading to buckram boards. Light rubbing to calf of corners and spine edges with slight loss to Volume II (please see photo). Overall a VERY GOOD, HANDSOME SET.
