FIRST EDITION 4to. purple cloth hardback with titles and decorations in blue and white by Oliver Messel, in unclipped dust jacket. 96pp., profusely illustrated with 8 tipped-in colour plates on grey paper and 32 b/w plates, all being original designs by Oliver Messel for the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film production of 1936, starring Norma Shearer and Leslie Howard and directed By George Cukor. A clean copy with no markings or inscriptions. Occasional light foxing, mainly to prelims. Dust jacket has large closed tear across the front cover, some small areas of loss to top edge and rubbing to spine (please see photos) but still presents quite well. A VERY GOOD COPY in Good Dust Jacket.
