No dust jackets. t.e.g. xxvi, 633pp. and xvi, 534pp. Both volumes profusely illustrated with portrait frontispieces, tissue-guarded, 6 original sketches, 18 coloured plates and 260 full-page and vignette b/w illustrations, panoramas and maps. A clean set with no markings or inscriptions. Occasional light foxing, heavier to prelims and untrimmed foredges. Light rubbing to spine edges and light wear to top and base of spines and corners with a few tiny splits to cloth. Overall a VERY GOOD SET.
