All edges red. Marbled endpapers. TEXT IN FRENCH. 176pp., with separate title pages for each volume. Old engraved armorial bookplate to front pastedown and later armorial bookplate to ffep. Earlier Bookseller's printed catalogue description pasted to verso of ffep with mistaken authorship details. A couple of small holes and closed tears to top edge of early blank. Light foxing and a few light spots of ink to foredge. Slight rubbing to spine with light wear to base of spine. Slight scratch across gilt coat of arms on upper board and a couple of small white spots. A VERY GOOD, HANDSOME COPY.
